Arlington Public Schools district works hard to achieve their goal of ensuring that each child receives the best possible education available. The Arlington Public Schools district supports 22 elementary, 5 middle and 4 high schools to serve area student needs. Arlington County invests approximately half of its local revenues in its education system, making our school district one of the top ten per-pupil spenders in the United States. Additionally, through an agreement with neighboring Fairfax County Public School system, a number of Arlington area students may enroll at the Fairfax County charter school Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology at no additional cost to the student.
